Peanut Butter Crispy Granola Bars

After extensive research on granola bar recipes and some attempts to make bars that fell apart and crumbled, I decided to make up my own recipe! These turned out great, and while they're not as stiff or chewy as store-bought ones, they hold together just fine. These are tasty as an afternoon snack and delicious enough for a dessert!

1 tbsp flax meal
3 tbsp warm water
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
1 cup crisp rice cereal
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup total mix-ins (I used almonds, walnuts, and raisins)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/3 cup peanut butter
3 tbsp warm water
