3/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups oatmeal (old-fashioned or quick cooking)
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips or chopped cocktail peanuts
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups oatmeal (old-fashioned or quick cooking)
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips or chopped cocktail peanuts
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, beat butter and peanut butter until combined. Beat in half of the flour. Add sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla and mix. Add baking powder and baking soda to remaing flour and stir into batter. Stir in oats and peanuts or chocolate chips. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet about two inches apart. Bake about ten minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on wire rack.
