Perfect M&M Cookies

I wouldn't call anything perfect but these are perfect! They are just perfectly soft and amazing just don't over cook them ;) I cannot recall where I found this recipe but it was in my recipe tin of heaven so thank you who ever you are

1 stick/1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all purpose Gold Medal Flour
3 tablespoons Instant vanilla pudding mix
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
2 cups Mini M and M’s
