Perfect Pumpkin Bread

This Perfect Pumpkin Bread is a real crowd pleaser and freezes well. My friend got it from her grandmother and I make it weekly for our church group.. They love it!

1 cup butter (optional: room temperature) (or butter alternative)
3 cups sugar
4 eggs or egg beaters (optional: room temperature)
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 can pumpkin
2/3 cups water
2 teaspoons baking soda
3 cups flour

Optional

1/4 cup chocolate chips
Step 1 Beat the first 7 ingredients (butter, sugar, eggs, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt & pumpkin) til smooth. Mix well. Step 2 Add water, baking soda and flour. Mix well. Step 3 Pour into three greased loaf pans....

1 lb. dried navy or Great Northern beans
1/2 lb. bacon
1 medium onion
1/2 c ketchup
3/4 c molasses
2 T apple cider vinegar
2 t dry mustard
