It's October which means it's fall which means pumpkin flavors are everywhere. Well, not here Yummies. We are going against the grain and boycotting pumpkin! Okay, that's drastic. Similar to an elevated mimosa, the Blood and Sand cocktail combines fresh blood orange juice, sweet Vermouth and cherry liqueur to create a unique and refreshing cocktail.

Cocktail Ingredients:
1/4 oz Blended Scotch
1/4 oz Blood Orange juice ( Freshly squeezed. Regular orange juice is an okay substitute. )
1/4 oz Cocchi Sweet Vermouth
1/4 oz Heering Cherry liqueur
1 Blood orange ( Peel or slice for garnish )
1 Cherry ( Luxardo or aged )
