The recipe has been one of my favorite and my Granny cooks it Awesome. She has written a book in our mothertongue , Oriya, which I have translated into English

Meat - 1/2 kilo,
Pumpkin - 1/2 kl
Toor Dal ( yellow Pigeons ) + Chana (Yellow chick peas ) + Masoor Dal ( Red lentil) + Moong Dal (Split yellow Gram) - 1/2 cup from each dal to be soaked for about an Hour )
Salt - According to taste
Turmeric -
oil
Garam Masala ( whole cardamom + Cinnamom + Clove +Tejpatta )
Sugar
Onion - 2 medium sized cut into pieces
Ginger Garlic paste - 4 teaspoon
Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
cumin powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves for Garnish
1) Peel the Pumpkin Skin and boil the dal and Pumpkins together. 2) Make a fine paste of boiled Pumpkin and dal 3) Boil the meat with turmeric + salt and keeep aside 4)Take a pan . Add 4 tsp vegetable oil , add the Whole Garam Masala , Tej Patta, Sugar, 5) Once the sugar turns light brown add onions to it 6) Once the onion turns link Pink , add the Ginger and Garlic Paste ...let it cook till the raw ginger garlic smells goes off 7) Add rest of the Masalas (chilly powder , cumin powder , coriander powder 8) Once the oil comes out ,Add the Mutton to the masala and mix it properly . 9 ) Once the meat and the masala blends together , we will add the pumpkin and lentil paste to it and mix properly 10) Let it cook for 10 - 12 mins . Turn the Gas off. 11) Garnish with Fresh coriander leaves.
