The only chocolate cake recipe you need! Red Wine Chocolate Cake with Dark Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting is fudgy, rich, and decadent.

1/2 cup dark chocolate cocoa powder
2 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup butter ( room temperature )
1/2 cup oil
2 1/4 cups brown sugar
6 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups red wine
Frosting:
12 oz cream cheese ( room temperature )
3/4 cup butter ( room temperature )
5 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 3 7-inch cake pans and set aside.

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)
