Green tomato relish is the missing ingredient when making his mom’s “Beef Barbecue” recipe.

1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
Pepper to taste
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons vinegar
½ jar tomato relish
1 small can tomato sauce
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
Pepper to taste
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons vinegar
½ jar tomato relish
1 small can tomato sauce
2 tablespoons butter
Melt butter, add ground beef, salt and pepper.
Keep turning until meat has changed color.
Add rest of ingredients in order listed. Keep turning with fork so meat does not burn or stick.
