This dish is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! A fab­u­lous way to stretch the bud­get with a meal that is packed with fla­vor. Con­sider it in the cat­e­gory of gourmet and com­pany ele­gant. If you are feed­ing a bunch of munchkins, after cook­ing the beef pat­ties, sim­ply cut it into pieces to really stretch it.

2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup Ital­ian bread crumbs
1 small onion, minced
1 Tbl. bal­samic vine­gar
1 Tbl. gar­lic, minced
1 tsp. beef bouil­lon
1 Tbl. Worces­ter­shire sauce
1 tsp Mon­treal steak seasoning
4 Tbl. but­ter, divided
1 pack­age sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup water
1 packet brown gravy mix
1 can con­densed cream of mush­room soup
1/2 cup milk
1 Tbl. bal­samic vine­gar
2 Tbl. sour cream
