Secret Italian Meatballs

These meatballs are lower fat than traditional beef meatballs, but still hold their tenderness because they are cooked in sauce. They go well with crusty bread, or pasta, and your family will love them. I make these weekly.

16 oz. Tomato Sauce (homemade or jarred)...a big pot of it will work too!
16 oz. Ground Chicken
1 Cup Italian Bread Crumbs (I use Progresso)
1 egg
1/4 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
1 Teaspoon Basil
1 Teaspoon Oregano
S&P to taste

1 Teaspoon Basil
1 Teaspoon Oregano
S&P to taste
Mix everything together except sauce, and form balls. You can dip your fingers in water to help them not stick to your hands. Drop raw balls in hot sauce. Simmer for about 30 minutes, or longer.
