Simple Beef and Broccoli

Juicy beef and broccoli without the grease. This self-saucing recipe is so easy you'll never get take-out again!

2 lbs bottom round roast steak
4 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp grapeseed oil
2 tbsp cornstarch
4 cloves minced garlic
2 tsp grated ginger
2 tbsp vegetable oil, for frying
6 broccoli crowns, cut up

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
