Simple Bourbon Street Chicken

Sweet & Tangy chicken and thick sauce

Ingredients:
2-3 boneless chicken breasts
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
1-2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon ginger
3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup apple juice
1/3 cup light brown sugar
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Heat the oil in a large skillet. Next add cubed chicken and cook until lightly brown. Remove the chicken from the pan. Add the remaining ingredients, heating over medium heat until well blended and cornstarch/sugar dissolved. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, uncovered. Serve over hot rice or egg noodles.
