Sliced Potato Casserole

This was a meal my mom made often. A family favorite!

1- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
4-6 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 onion, chopped
1 can cut green beans, drained
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
1/2 soup can of water
salt and pepper, to taste
Peel and thinly slice potatoes. Grease casserole dish. Brown ground beef. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the casserole dish. Sprinkle half of the chopped onions over the potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Next, layer the ground beef, then the green beans. Top with a layer of potatoes. Sprinkle remaining onions over potatoes, then salt and pepper. Heat the soup with half can of water to just before boiling. Pour over the potatoes. Cover with tin foil. Bake at 375 for about an hour or so, until the potatoes are cooked.
