The Sauce
1 pound ground beef
3/4 cups plus 2 Tablespoons ketchup
1/2 cup water
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Tablespoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
You will also need
2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
2 cups shredded cheese
1 pound ground beef
3/4 cups plus 2 Tablespoons ketchup
1/2 cup water

1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
You will also need
2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
2 cups shredded cheese
Heat your oven to 350 degrees. Add your ground beef to frying pan and cook until brown. Drain the grease. Add the rest of your sauce ingredients and stir until well combined, reduce heat , and simmer for 20 minutes covered. In a 9x13 greased baking pan, roll out your first roll of crescent dough. Press into the bottom to completely cover and also press 1/2 inch up onto the sides. Pour your hot sloppy joe mixture on top and spread out evenly. Sprinkle your cheese over the mixture, and then cover your mixture with the other roll of dough. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool 5-10 minutes before eating.
