Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle

Perfect for a cold and blustery day or as a remedy when you're just not feeling up to par!

2 pounds chicken breasts
10 cups water
5 chicken bouillon cubes
4 stalks celery, sliced
1 cup carrots, sliced
3 bay leaves
1 bunch fresh parsley
1 tablespoon basil
16 oz. Extra wide egg noodles
salt and pepper to taste
1. Place all ingredients except the noodles in your crock pot. Make sure to place the parsley in last, as it will be removed after cooking. 2. Cook on high for 4-5 hours. 3. Remove the parsley and bay leaves. 4. Remove the chicken and shred. Place shredded chicken back into the pot. 5. Add your noodles and continue cooking for 45 minutes or until the noodles are soft. 6. Enjoy! Fantastic with a slice of Cornmeal Dusted Muffin Bread!
