Slow Cooker Ham and Potatoes Au Gratin

A nice, creamy au gratin potato made in the slow cooker. Very easy and very good.

4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
2 cups of cubed ham
2 portions cream of whatever mix (you can get that recipe here: Cream of Whatever Soup Mix)
1/2 large onion, chopped
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Grease your slow cooker well. Layer half of the potatoes, ham, onion, mushrooms and cheese and then repeat layer. Mix the soup mix as directed and pour over the potatoes. Cook on low for 8 hours.

It's moist and tender thanks to sour cream in the batter, and studded with miniature chocolate chips for even more decadent flavor. 1/2 c sour cream
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/3 c milk
2 eggs
2 t vanilla extract
2 c all purpose flour
1/2 c unsweetened cocoa powder
1 (½ t) baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon kosher salt
1 c shredded zucchini ( patted dry )
