1/2 cup butter, room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
dash salt
1 cup raisins (optional)
Rolling mixture:
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 Teaspoon cinnamon

1 Teaspoon cinnamon
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Cream the butter and sugar in mixing bowl. Beat in egg.
3. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Add to creamed mixture and combine.
4. Combine sugar and cinnamon in separate bowl.
5. Roll cookie dough into 1" balls and roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture.
6. Place 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet.
7. Bake 10-12 minutes.
