These soft, thick and chewy cookies are bursting with plump juicy raisins, and have a warm hint of cinnamon and nutmeg.

3/4 C brown sugar, packed
1/3 C granulated (white) sugar
1 large egg
1 egg yolk
2 tsp vanilla
1-1/2 C quick-cooking oats
1-1/4 C all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 C raisins (or 1-1/2 C if you really like raisins!)
