Kerala, the God’s own country is home to various tasty recipes with its traditional spicy twist. One of the main attractions in Kerala is the Kallu Shaapu (The Toddy Shops). Not only are they famous for the Nadan Kallu (Country Side Fresh Toddy), but also are famous for the spicy mouth watering traditional sea food and other non vegetarian side dishes served with toddy. To Marinate:

Red Chilli Powder – 1.5 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Dry Ginger powder – A Pinch
Dry Garlic Powder – A pinch
Salt – To Taste
To Roast:

Onion – 1 No – chopped
Garlic – 2-3 Cloves – crushed
Ginger – 1 small piece – crushed
Green Chillies – 2 -3 Nos (Depending on Your Spice Tolerance level)
Tomato – 1 No
Black Pepper
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
Coconut Oil
Salt to Taste
