This is a simple recipe that i used for my sister's birthday. Its pretty easy and fun to make. Just remember to swift the flour and dry ingredients together good!!!!!! also you do need a mixer so make sure you have one!!!!!!!

2 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup( 1 stick) butter, at room temperature
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1. For this recipe, preheat the oven to 350 degrees f. Grease any cookie sheet you have. In a large bowl, using a mixer on medium cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Add in the egg and beat on medium speed for 2 minutes
2. In a small bowl, swift together the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones a little bit at a time.
3.Wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
4. Take out the dough and roll together 2 inch balls. Put them on the greased cookie sheet and bake for about fifteen minutes. Take out and cool before cookie frosting or eating. Then settle on a cooling rack. At last dig in!!!!!!!!!!
