Sweet and Spicy Carrot Bread

This delicious bread is infused with yummy carrot, coconut and cinnamon flavors - the three big C's perfect for spring! Serve with butter or on it's own and it's sure to be a hit.

1/2 cup of Coconut Oil
1 cup of Sugar
2 beaten Eggs
1 cup of Shredded Carrots
1 1/2 cup of All Purpose Flour
1 tsp of Baking Soda
1 tsp of Baking Powder
1/4 tsp of Salt
1 tsp of Cinnamon
1/2 cup of Milk

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
