Green Kale, Pear, and Almond Smoothie · Seasonal Cravings
During my stay down at Fitness Ridge, they served up delicious smoothies every morning for breakfast. Since being back home, I have been making a smoothie every morning and this is definitely one of my tried-and-true favorites. ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
½ avocado ( pitted and sliced )
½ large banana ( sliced and frozen )
1 cup fresh baby spinach or kale
1 teaspoon agave or honey

This Green Kale, Pear, and Almond Smoothie contains tons of protein from the almond butter and chia seeds. It will keep you full until lunch for sure.
When I first heard the term “green smoothie”, I was immediately turned off. Let’s be honest- a green drink doesn’t look exactly appetizing. However, don’t knock it until you have tried it! You might actually be surprised at how amazing a green smoothie tastes despite it’s unappetizing color. This smoothie is really one of my favorites!
1 cup frozen peaches ( or 1 fresh peach )

These smoothies are healthy and are a great way to get some fruit in your diet! My kids absolutely love them! You can easily double this recipe if you want to make more than 2 smoothies.
