Crisps & Delicious Pickled Radish

You must try this pickled radish recipe and use at your next family meal as a tasty side dish. A delicious and spicy pickled recipe that is well-paired with many heavy meat dishes. Pickling is another form of preserving fruits and vegetables, but usually vegetables. The process extends the shelf life of food by fermentation in brine or immersing the vegetables in a vinegar solution. Pickled herbs can be roasted and ground up for an easy ground spice dip. Leftover lemons can be brined in a sugar and vinegar solution and used as a sweet and sour condiment.

5 oz radish
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 cup hot water

Lemony Grilled Shrimp Salad

Grilled shrimp is a great way to get a shrimp recipe to the next level. We punch it up even more with a vegetable salad. This is also a perfect appetizer recipe if you are planning to taste the wonderful flavors of European cuisine. Grilling shrimp is very easy. You just need to remember that once the shrimp turns pinkish then, it is ready to be flipped and grilled on the other side. Overcooking the shrimp will result in a rubbery texture that won’t be appetizing to eat.

16 oz large shrimp
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
5 oz romaine lettuce
2 oz red onions
1/4 cup pitted olives
2 oz red bell pepper
1/4 cup basil
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
4

1 - In a large bowl, combine minced red onions, chopped lettuce, basil and red peppers.

2 - Combine 1/4 cup lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper to make a dressing.

3 - Marinate the deveined...

Shrimp Salad with Tomatoes & Feta

Looking for a tasty, yet zesty shrimp recipe? This shrimp salad recipe is a light, protein-packed dish that you can serve as a side dish or the main entree on a weeknight. It’s deliciously saucy, perfectly rich, and amazingly flavorful! You don’t need many ingredients to get the best flavors out of the shrimp. Once the shrimp are added to the pan, the tip is to cook them just long enough that they turn pink all over, but not until their bodies curl into rounds and get rubbery. This indicates overcooking. Keep it low carb and serve this over zucchini noodles or with cauliflower fried rice!

3 oz red onions
2 garlic cloves
8 oz plum tomatoes
1/2 cup white wine
1/4 cup fish stock

6

Easy Yam Souffle is not your typical yam souffle.  It's savory with delicious Gruyere cheese, eggs, and sage. This recipe and the giveaway included in this post is sponsored by Melissa’s Produce. All opinions are my own. Thanks for supporting the brands that make A Kitchen Hoor’s Adventures possible. Yam versus sweet potato is a question that most people ask. We have canned yams. We have sweet potatoes. There’s also that tuber like thing that people call a yam that’s more like yucca than potato. I honestly think the whole thing is a grey area. And don’t get me started on
