Tangy Apple Soup

A wonderful and healthy recipes that is best served using ripeapples at their peak or freshness.

1 1/2 pounds of apples, peeled and cored then cut into moderate size pieces
12 ounces of peach or pear juice
1 ounce brown sugar
1 ounce white cane sugar
2 teaspoons powdered cinnamon
A pinch of powdered clove
1 ounce apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon powdered cayenne pepper
Place all of the ingredients into a soup pot, cover and place on low heat stirring every ten minutes or so. Allow this mixture to cook for about 1 hour or until the apples are soft. Next, you can either run the ingredients through a food processor or blender or combine them using a hand masher. Return the ingredients to the pot and stir in one teaspoon of each of lemon and lime juice, then refrigerate the apple soup to cool before serving.
