Tastes Like Lasagna Soup

This soup is PERFECT for one of those cold nights in! The noodles cook perfectly and my family absolutely loved this recipe. It is a keeper for sure!

2 teaspoons Light olive oil
1 pound turkey sausage
1 onion, chopped
3 teaspoons minced garlic
1 (32-ounce) container reduced sodium, fat-free chicken broth
2 (8-ounce) cans tomato sauce (we used Hunts with basil and garlic)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
4 ounces broken whole-wheat lasagna noodles (about 5 to 5½ noodles, then break into pieces)
2 teaspoons basil
3 tablespoons reduced fat parmesan cheese
1/2 cup reduced-fat shredded mozzarella (or cheddar or Mexican blend) cheese
