Tater-Tot Casserole

Moms, are you looking for a new easy and delicious recipe for your family? Try this one! It only takes about 10 minutes to throw it all together and your oven will do the rest. This casserole is simple but satisfying. One that the hubby AND kids will love!

• 1 lb. ground beef
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 1 can cream of mushroom soup
• ¼ cup milk
• 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
• 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
• 1 lb. Frozen bite-size tater tots
Heat oven to 375ºF. Brown meat with onions in large skillet, stirring occasionally. Drain. Spoon into 2-qt. casserole. Mix soup and milk; pour over meat mixture; top with layers of remaining ingredients. Bake 35 min. or until potatoes are golden brown and casserole is heated through. Can serve with ketchup on top.

Marinated Taro Root

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
