This satisfying chicken soup with wild rice and vegetables is perfect for dipping crusty bread.

3 tablespoons butter
4 medium carrots, peeled and diced
4 celery stalks, diced
1 small onion, finely diced (to hide its existence from picky children)
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
3 tablespoons flour
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup wild rice or wild/brown rice blend, uncooked
2 cup milk

salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)
