1 lb 90% lean ground beef
1 Tbs balsamic vinegar
2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
1/4 cup onion, finely minced
1½ tsp finely minced garlic
4 oz sharp Parmesan cheese, grated
8 "grinds" freshly ground black pepper
4 slices Munster cheese, broken in half
4 slices Colby or Monterrey Jack cheese, broken in half

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
