Toad-in-the-Hole

Toad-in-the-Hole is a dish I learned of whilst living in England. It is a traditional favorite of my husband’s, so I had to learn how to make it. I mastered my Yorkshire pudding batter first and from there it is a simple dish! You may recall I also made giant Yorkshire puddings for my chili that is one of my favorite meals.

6 eggs
2½ c of milk
2 c of flour
Salt and pepper to taste
A handfull of fresh rosemary pulled off the stem
10 sausages (I chose some chicken spinach feta sausages), just about 2 lbs of sausage
1 yellow onion sliced
2-3 T olive oil
