Quick and easy whole wheat soda bread - it mixes up in minutes and tastes fantastic!

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour (or multigrain)
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened (plus 1 tablespoon melted for brushing the baked bread)
1 3/4 cups buttermilk
