Winter Oatmeal

As the weather gets colder, I am always searching for foods that will warm me on the inside. There is nothing better than a bowl of oatmeal on a chilly winter morning. Using my favorite oat variety, rolled oats, and some delicious dried fruit, this recipe needs just a touch of agave for a slightly sweet meal.

1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
2 cups water
2 tablespoons dried blueberries
2 tablespoons dried cranberries
2 tablespoons sliced almonds
2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon agave syrup
