World's Best Sugar Cookies

Makes mouth watering sugar cookies that are always perfect.

2 cups butter or margarine, softened

2 cups granulated sugar

3 eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp lemon extract

6 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda
Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and lemon extract. Add flour and baking soda. Mix until all the flour has been mixed into the dough. Refrigerate for 2 or 24 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease cookies sheet. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut out desired shapes. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes or until edges start to brown. Freezes well for up to 6 months.

1 small Vidalia onion
2 cloves garlic
2 15.5 oz cans diced tomatoes
1 T sugar
2 t fresh thyme leaves
1 dried bay leaf
1/2 t apple cider vinegar
1/2 t Worcestershire sauce
2 c fresh or frozen okra
salt and pepper ( to taste )
