Apricot & cheese Pastry Cups

These bite sized creamy goodies are a wonderful treats for your sweet tooth and something your kids will enjoy.

6 oz. apricot preserve
8 oz. cream cheese (room temp)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
¼ cup of sugar
Puff pastry cups ( 24 per pack)
2 large eggs
Step 1: pre- heat the oven to 375 degrees, next combine in to a mixing bowl The cream cheese, vanilla, sugar and one egg yolk Using and mixer, mix until all the ingredients are Incorporated Step 2: make an egg wash with the other egg and brush the tops of the pastry cups and bake for 10 Minutes Step 3: prepare cream cheese mix and apricot preserve in to separate piping bag of you don’t have a Piping bag a zip-lock will work just snip the end off one of the corners Step 4: after the cups rise but aren’t fully baked remove from the oven and pipe 1/3 oz. of both Cream cheese and apricot in the cups and finish baking for 10 minutes, when the cups have risen fully and are golden brown pull them out and let the pastries cool for 5 minutes before serving. serve and enjoy
