Aunt Bee's Favorite Beef Stew with Beer & Paprika

We were craving stew last night and we did what we always do when we are craving something and don't know what specifically, We googled 'pioneer woman' and 'stew'. HA! We came across the Pioneer Woman's Beef Stew with Beer and Paprika. It turned out really good, but was AMAZING after it had time to sit covered, with the heat turned off long enough to let it get to room temperature. 2 TBSP Olive Oil
2 TBSP unsalted Butter
2 lbs Stew Meat
1 Onion, Diced
2 TBSP minced garlic
1 (12oz) can of beer
6 cups water
4 cubes beef boullion
2 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
4 TBSP Tomato Paste
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
1/2 tsp salt (after it was cooked and ready to serve, I tasted for seasoning and added an additional 1/2 tsp of salt for a total of 1 tsp)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1-1/2 tsp white granultated Sugar
4 Carrots, peeled and sliced
4 Russet Potatoes, peeled and cut into bite sized pieces
1 TBSP dried parsley
