Bacon Wrapped BBQ Baked Chicken

Boneless skinless chicken breasts wrapped in bacon, baked, doused in bbq sauce, and topped with provolone cheese.

1 package boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 package thick sliced bacon
BBQ sauce of your choice (I used Jack Daniels original recipe)
Lawrys Mesquite w/ lime juice marinade
Provolone cheese slices
Adobo
Chicken seasoning
Onion powder
1. Marinate chicken breast in Mesquite marinade for 30 minutes 2. Lay bacon on a cutting board, and wrap chicken at an angle, so that the entire piece of chicken is covered in bacon. Place toothpicks in each end to hold bacon in place during first stage of cooking. Season with adobo, chicken seasoning and onion powder. 3. Bake in oven covered tightly with tinfoil for 30 minutes. 4. Remove from oven and drain oil (its okay if you leave a tablespoon or two) 5. With a brush, cover top of chicken in bbq sauce. Flip over, and repeat. DO NOT flip back over. 6. Resume baking for 5-8 minutes, then coat top of chicken one last time in the BBQ sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until sauce looks partially dry. 7. Add half of a provolone cheese slice to the top of every piece of chicken. 8. Bake until cheese is fully melted. 9. Take out and enjoy :)
