These baked apple cider donuts are incredibly easy to make, packed with apple spice flavor, moist, and addicting!

For Donuts:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt (I use pink himalayan)
1 and ½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp ground cloves
small pinch of all-spice
1 tsp orange zest
1 egg slightly beaten or flax egg (1 tbls flax meal mixed with 3 tbls water and set aside for 5 mins)
3 tbls melted butter or coconut oil*
½ cup warm apple cider (should be able to comfortably stick finger in it without burning)
½ cup warm coconut milk (same as apple cider)
2 tsp vanilla
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
¼ cup fine cane sugar (plain white is fine)

*if using coconut oil your other liquids need to be slightly warm so coconut oil does not solidify.

For the cinnamon-sugar coating:
4 tbls melted butter or coconut oil
½ cup fine cane sugar (plain white is fine)
2 tsp cinnamon
