Baked General Tso's Chicken

General Tso's Chicken is normally deep fried. Try it baked instead! Save some calories, and don\\\'t lose one bit of flavor. You'll want to make extra sauce, to spoon over the rice.

Ingredients
8 ounces boneless chicken thighs, cut in strips
1 egg + 2 tbsp water whisked together to make an egg wash
1/4 cup flour
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 Tablespoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon Toasted Sesame Oil (optional)
2 spring onions, cut into small pieces
2 teaspoons Toasted Sesame Seeds
For the Sauce
1 cup sugar
¼ cup water
4 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
4 Tablespoon Rice Wine Vinegar (white wine vinegar is fine in a pinch)
2 teaspoon paprika
2 Tablespoon Hot Chili Paste (use more or less to taste)
2 cloves minced raw garlic, 1 clove minced roasted garlic
1 Tablespoon freshly grated ginger
¼ cup water
2 tsp Corn Starch
