Banana Toasted Pecan Muffins

These big beautiful muffins are full of yummy toasted pecans and banana. They're that bakery muffin you see everyday but made healthier and in your own home!

1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 ripe bananas mashed
1 egg
2.5 tbsp canola oil (or other neutral tasting oil)
2.5 tbsp plus 1 teaspoon unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans
