Banoffee Pie with Crumbled Biscuits and Butter Base

This no-bake banoffee pie is simply delicious: banana flavor combined with a layer of toffee along with sugar coated pecan nuts!

Base

6.2 oz (175 g) digestive biscuits (for example, Bastogne)
1 oz (1/5 cup or 30 g) pecan nuts
6 tbsp (3 oz or 85 g) butter, melted

Toffee

5 1/2 tbsp (2.6 oz or 75 g) butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/3 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp salt

Topping

1 tbsp powdered sugar
1/2 cup (2.1 oz or 60g) pecan nuts
2-3 (10.5 oz or 300g) bananas
1 1/3 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp instant coffee powder (optional)
