Best Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Mmm... These chocolate chip cookies are the best. They have just the right amount of chocolate and are just so chewy!! Everyone seems too love these cookies that are just chewy and sweet enough! I hope you'll like them too. :)

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup unsalted butte, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 1/3 cups semi sweet chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips
1. preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 2. In a small bowl mix together flour and baking soda, 3. In a bowl of an electric mixer with the paddle attachment, combine the butter and both sugars. 4. Beat on medium speed until fluffy 5. Reduce to low speed and add salt, eggs and vanilla. 6. beat until well combined for about 1 minute 7. Add flour mix and mix until combined. 8. Stir in chocolate chips 9. Drop tablespoons of dough on parchment paper, 1 inch apart 10. Bake for 6-8 minutes. or until cookies are becoming sort of golden around the edges. NOTE: when baking the cookies, they may still seem not cooked enough after 6-8 minutes, but once you remove them from the oven and they cool down, you will see that they are cooked perfectly. This makes the cookies chewy. **** If you like crunchier cookies or your oven does not heat up as quickly you may leave the cookies in for longer, until you find they are just perfect to your taste.

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
