Black Chickpea Salad/ Kala Channa Chaat

A salad with hot and sour flavor -very simple and easy to make

Chickpeas (Black) -1 cup
Cucumber-1 nos
Tomato- 1 nos(small)
Onion-1 nos(small)
Lemon/Lime- Half
Salt- half tsp
Chilly powder- half tsp
Chat masala(Indian spice to provide tangy flavor)-half tsp
1. Soak the black chickpeas(kala channa) in water for 6 to 7 hours. 2. Boil the soaked chickpeas in pressure cooker for 20 minutes, by adding half tsp salt to it. 3. Drain the water from the boiled chickpeas. 4.Chop onions,cucumber,tomato into small pieces. Add them to the chickpeas. 5.Add the spices- chilly powder,chat masala. Squeeze lime/lemon juice. Enjoy your channa chat/chickpeas salad.
