Brownie-Chocolate Chip Thumbprint Cookies

These delicious cookies are easy to make and the best possible twist on a thumbprint cookie with a chocolate chip base and chocolate drizzle.

1 (18.4 ounces) chocolate fudge brownie mix
3/4 cup butter, melted
6 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
3 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
4 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/4 cups white flour
1 cup chocolate chips, separated
Optional Chocolate Drizzle: 1/4 cup chocolate chips + 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
