Butterscotch pudding cookies get a fun hit of color from mini M&M candies. So chewy and delicious!

1 cup butter ( softened )
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 box instant butterscotch pudding mix ( 3.4 oz. )
1 1/4 cups mini M&M candies
1 cup butterscotch chips
