cabbage is a leafy vegetable which is rich in protein ,vitamin C and vitamin A and helps to reduce cholesterol.green peas is protein and which is of rich fiber so having cabbage in our diet helps to reduce cholesterol and maintain healthy diet. It is a delicious main dish with mild spices, which is a nice compliment to any meal, simple and easy recipe to make, as i got compliments from my husband.

1 small cabbage 250 gm , 50 gm green peas, 3-4 green chillies, 2-3 bunch of curry leaves,2 medium size onions/1 big onion,1 tsp ginger garlic paste,1 tsp turmeric powder, salt to taste,4-5 tbsp oil,125 ml of water,3 coriander leaves.
cut the cabbage into pieces and then wash under running water.If you notice any signs of worms or insects, which sometimes appears in cabbage, soak the head in salt water or vinegar water for 15-20 minutes first. To preserve its vitamin A&C content, cut and wash the cabbage right before cooking it. after cleaning thoroughly put the content in a pressure cooker ,pour 125ml of water into it and boil it for 2 whistles,let it cool and squeeze excess water from cabbage kept aside. chop green chillies into half slits and onions into small pieces. heat pan add 4-5 tbsp oil ,once oil get heated add chopped green chilli slices ,curry leaves and onions into it and small amount of salt into it. once onions turn into golden brown . later add ginger garlic paste and saute them in 2minutes.later add turmeric powder and green peas fry them for 4 minutes.later add cabbage to it cook until water gets absorbed and fried well and check salt and added as per their taste and wish. once it is ready add some chopped coriander to this and switch of the stove and curry is ready to dish out.
