Shrimp, Sausage and Bell Peppers Oh My! This recipe has a little kick and a whole lot of Yum!

6 Large Green Bell Peppers
3 tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Onion, diced
1 clove minced Garlic
1/2 tsp dried Oregano
1 tbsp. Creole Seasoning
3/4 pound Shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 sausage links diced
1 cup uncooked rice
2 1/2 cup chicken broth
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
1 Lime

Hot sauce
3 tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Onion, diced

1 tbsp. Creole Seasoning
3/4 pound Shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 sausage links diced
1 cup uncooked rice
2 1/2 cup chicken broth
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
1 Lime

Hot sauce
Preheat oven 325 degrees. Grease your favorite 8x12 baking dish. Remove tops and seeds from bell peppers and blanch in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain and dry with paper towels.
Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Saute onion. Add garlic, oregano, Creole and pepper. Stir in the shrimp and sausage. Cook for 5 minutes or until shrimp turns pink. Stir in the rice and cook for 1 minute. Next add chicken broth and tomato sauce. Fill the peppers with the mixture and place in baking dish.
Bake 15-20 minutes. Serve with salad and garlic bread
