CAPRESE CHOCOLATE CAKE

The legend says that this cake was born at the beginning of last century almost by chance: a baker of the beautiful island of Capri , wanting to make a cake with chocolate and almonds , forgot to add the flour in the mixture, what came out was a soft, delicious cake which soon became famous under the name of Torta Caprese.

2 dark chocolate bars

¾ stick of butter

¾ cup sugar

1 cup almond flour

½ cup cornstarch

3 eggs yolk

3 eggs white

zest of one orange
Heat your oven to 350° F Melt chocolate and butter in your microwave (2 to 3 minutes would be enough) Whisk eggs yolk with the half of sugar and do the same with eggs white. Add orange zest to the chocolate.
