This delicious date sauce is dreamy, delicious and full of nutrition. It’s so simple to make and so versatile too – there’s so many recipes you can add it to like my sticky toffee cake or cacao pie. I sometimes add a dash of it to greek yoghurt or spread it over chopped apples too as a tasty, guilt-free snack.
2 cups/250g pitted dates
100ml boiled water
3 tbsp coconut oil
60ml coconut water
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon

1. Add the dates and just boiled water to a saucepan and heat for 5 mins on a medium heat.
