Caramel-y Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

These Caramel-y Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars are a piece of heaven, to put it simply! A wonderful bar filled with gooey, warm, oozing caramel. It doesn't get better than that, folks!

Caramel Filling
11 oz. bag caramels
14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
4 Tbsp. butter
Cookie Dough
1 1/2 sticks butter ( salted )
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
2 eggs ( room temperature )
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. old fashioned oats
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. chocolate chips (or however much you'd like)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper. This is important as it will save you from taking a butter knife to your pan afterwards to scrape off hardened caramel. Unwrap...
