Baked Ziti – pasta packed with Italian sausage, parmesan and mozzarella cheeses then baked to perfection.

1 lb pound ground Italian sausage
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce (I used Prego)
1 tsp olive oil
5-6 garlic cloves, minced
1 ½ tsp dried basil
½ tsp dried oregano
3 cups water
1 box ziti or similar pasta
½ cup half and half
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
