Chicken breasts that have been browned and then bathed in a rich sauce of wine, beef base, mushrooms and spinach.

1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
2 Tbs olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 cups water
1 cup Marsala wine
4 tsp beef base
16oz package baby portobello mushrooms, sliced
2 cups baby spinach
1 cup all-purpose flour, plus 1/2 cup
3 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, pounded into 1/2 inch thickness
salt and pepper to taste
egg noodles, optional
